Roger Mack Obituary
IVA, SC - Roger E. Mack, 'Pop' 'Good Daddy', 76, of 107 Meadow Brook Dr. Iva, SC passed away quietly in his sleep at Hospice of the Upstate on Friday July 16, 2010.
He was born in La France, SC on February 11, 1934 he was the son of the late George and Veona Mack.
Roger is survived by his wife Carolyn Cook Mack of the home; daughter: Sandra Mack Norris and husband Andy; son Sandy Mack and wife Elaine both of Anderson, SC; step children: Theresa Whitfield and husband Scott, Thomas E. Cook both of Anderson, SC, James David Cook and wife Lynn of Columbia, SC, Michael Lee Cook and wife Angie of Abbeville, SC; grandchildren: Christopher Mack, Joshua and Megan Richey, Timothy Richey, Elizabeth and Anthony Sallee, Casy and Rodney Pinson, Blake Whitfield, Bradley Evett, Haley Stewart, Taylor Cook, Emma Cook, Dylan Cook, Riley Cook, Hayden Cook, Jacob Cook, Joshua Cook, Jonah Cook, Brooke Cook; great grandchild Bella Sallee and also by former wife Jan Mack.
In addition to his parents; he is also preceded in death by a son George Thomas Mack.
The family is at the home where they will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday July 18, 2010.
A Memorial service will be held at Iva Pentecostal Holiness Church on Monday July 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to 'To Know Him Puppet Ministry' in memory of Mr. Mack 'Pop' at PO Box 426 Iva SC 29655.
Woodlawn Sosebee Funeral Home and Cremation Services will be assisting the family with the arrangements.

We will miss Roger and all his humor. He could always bring a smile to our faces. He was a kindred spirit with his love of good food and a good ballgame. He was a good grandparent to all his many adopted grandchildren. Roger, you were a joy to know and you will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you.
