William Douglas Timms

William Douglas (Doug) Timms, 56, of 178 Lemans Drive, Anderson, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at his residence. Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late William Lee and Violet Jean Timms, he was previously employed by Davey Tree Service and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include one son, Matthew Timms of Batesburg; 1 daughter, Laura Owen of Anderson; 1 grandson, Zachary Powell of Hartwell, GA and 1 grandchild on the way; 2 brothers, Earl Timms of Belton, Ray Timms of Starr; 3 sisters, Patricia McKee of Iva, Sue Rochester and Della Culbertson both of Anderson; close friends, Tony and Teresa Ashworth both of Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Allen lee Timms and Glendale Timms; 1 sister, Debra Jean Timms. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted March 7 at 3:00p.m. in the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Evangelist Steve McKee. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
