Craig Wayne Cline

Mr. Craig Wayne Cline, 63, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Tony Allen will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. The family requests masks and social distancing during this time.

Mr. Cline was born Feb. 25, 1957, in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late Vance Clifford Cline Jr. and Gladys Virginia Hunsucker Cline. He was a life-long member of Center United Methodist Church. Craig was active with the Methodist Men and enjoyed helping with the church's barbecue. He was the Scout Master of Troop 264 at Center U.M.C. and 128 at Epworth U.M.C. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, class of 1975, and attended Wingate College. Craig loved farming, his cows and John Deere tractors. He also enjoyed the Green Bay Packers. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for NCDOT. He was a much loved husband, father and PawPaw.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Pritchard Cline.

Mr. Cline is survived by his wife, Joy LeAnn Pritchard Cline; three children, Zack Cline of Concord, Amber Brindle and husband, Bryan, and Tiffany Goodman and husband, Todd, both of Rockwell; sister, Judy Green and husband, Mike; brother, Dale Cline and wife, Karen, both of Concord; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth Brindle, Madison Cline, Anna Brindle and Drew Goodman.

Memorials may be sent to Hot Dog Team; or the Methodist Men of Center United Methodist Church, 1119 Union St. S, Concord, NC 28025.
