Keith Burton Obituary

Keith Thomas Burton, 57, husband of Tammy Melissa Getsinger Burton, of Canfield Road, died Sunday, January 7, 2024 at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Jesse Harold and Milwea Davis Burton. He was co-owner of The Burton Company in Greenwood. Keith was a very caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his children so much and cherished his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: two sons, Austen (Reagan) Burton of Belton and Niles (Cheri) Williams of Honea Path; his daughter, Jodi Burton of Belton; his brother, Steven (Cindy) Burton of Abbeville; seven grandchildren, Audry Marie, Liam Niles, Gavim Riggs, Bratten Colt, Crayton Lane, Tucker Lane, and "Baby Buck" due in February; and his favorite dog Jack, (It was a love/hate relationship).

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Burton Family Cemetery, 209 Canfield Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path with a procession to the graveside service following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital at lovetotherescue.org

So sad to hear of this. Time takes people in different directions and we loose touch. But, you never forget your childhood friends. Especially when you only had 3 houses on the road at the time. RIP Keith.
