Michael Patterson Obituary

Michael Anthony Patterson, 60, resident of Juniper Court, husband of Mary Louise Brown Patterson, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born November 1, 1963, in Greenwood, SC, he was a son of the late Pat and Beatrice Kinard Patterson. A 1981 graduate of Greenwood High School and he attended Piedmont Technical College. Michael was employed with Samsung in Newberry, he was also formerly employed with Morton Car Wash.

He attended Kingdom Hall Jehovas Witness in Greenwood.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two sons, Michael J. Patterson of Greenwood and Andricus J. Patterson of Greenwood; two step-daughters, Jacena Thompson of Greenwood and Pauline Annette Thompson of Greenwood; two step-sons, Tarvar Thompson of Atlanta, GA and Romen Seal Thompson of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Tony Calhoun of Greenwood and Steven Patterson of Ware Shoals; a sister, Patricia C. Bengamin of Greenwood; step-mom, Willie Mae Smith "Pinky"; three grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Blyth Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the Patterson family with arrangements.
