Paul Williams Obituary
Mr Paul" Gpa" Wiiliams, of 112 Porter Dr in Ninety-Six SC entered into eternal rest on Monday July 28,2025 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on September 24, 1935 in Greenwood County, South Carolina. He was the son of the late John Wesley and Josephine Williams. He was a member of Pine Pleasant Baptist Church in Ninety-Six, South Carolina where he a member of the Senior Choir on the senior Choir.
He was affectionately called Gpa, Papa, and GPop by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Paul was affectionately called many more names by friends, other family members and friends.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Lola Inez (Brooks) Williams of 66 years of marriage.
He is the last remaining living person in his bloodline. Both parents are deceased along with his 4 siblings: Mary, Carolyn, Esther, and John Wesley.
He lost his oldest daughter Josie Marie Wiliams at the age of 41 in 2002.
Paul was an avid church goer until his health failed preventing from attending services.
He had to leave at an early age to work the fields and did complete his education.
He is survived by his wife Lola, 3 daughters, and one son.

He is survived by 10 grandchildren, two were reared in the home. Makeisha D Wiliams of Ninety Six, SC and Devante Williams of Spartanburg Sc.

Kentrell (Kezaira) Williams of Columbia SC, Anita (Laboris) Louden of Columbia SC, Christian Coleman of Anderson, SC, Tiffany Williams of Spartanburg SC, Tory (Michelle) Coleman of Jesup Georgia, Ricky Williams Jr. of Spartanburg SC, Pierre (Sylvia) Williams and Pamela (Steffen) Menzel of Germany.
He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren. Jamarion and Shidrec Hearst, Alexander, D.K., Davis, and Zair Wiilams, Aaden and Aayana Louden, Randall Coleman, Ka'lecia Jean-Baptiste, Jaxson Coleman, Abigail Carroll, Tiana, Haylie, and Liam Menzel.
Paul enjoyed going to church, playing with his beloved puppy Gingerbread, and working.
He worked with Durst plant, part of greenwood Mills until his retirement. After he retired he did part work at Winn-Dixie.
His health declined recently, but up until that point he enjoyed spending time with his big beloved family.
Funeral services are 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Willie Cannady. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be from 1-6 p.m., on Friday, August 1, 2025. The family is at the home. Arrangements are being handled by Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.
