Peter Dubuque Obituary

Peter Denman Dubuque, 52, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Park Ridge, IL he was the son of Joseph Denman Dubuque and the late Penny Marie Peterson Dubuque. He graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He was an associate at the old Wal Mart for over fifteen years. Peter was a true Clemson fan at heart, he lived for the thrill of watching sports, especially cheering on the Clemson Tigers in both football and basketball. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf. Peter was a simple man who valued the little things in life and cherished his relationships with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by an aunt, Joan Dubuque; uncle; Jimmy Dubuque; and his uncle Lee's husband, Joe Beckham.

In addition to his father, Joseph, he is survived by his sister, Melissa Dubuque; aunts, Katie Warne (Bob) and Judy Rowe (Tom); uncles, Lee Peterson and David Dubuque (Sandy); uncle Jimmy's wife, Sally Dubuque; best friend, Heather Wayne (Kenny); and a group of friends from his college days.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Christopher officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
