Rosa Milledge Obituary
Rosa was a lifelong teacher of Greenwood School District 50 and continued with Adult Education at Genesis Education Center. Through her work with Greenwood's youth, she touched too many lives to count.
Surviving are two daughters: Lisha ( Vermond Jr.) Walker of Douglasville, GA, Toi (Kenneth) Lay of Jacksonville, FL; one step daughter, Annelenne Wageman (Heinz) of Warburg, Germany; five grandchildren: Vermond Walker III of Douglasville, GA, Alexa Rose Walker of Astoria, NY, Tylen Corbertt Walker of Nashville, TN, Carl Jasper Wageman of Cologne, Germany and Lovis Wageman of Warburg, Germany; two cousins, Genell Edney Graham of Aiken, SC and Rodney Bass of Stamford, CT; along with a host of relatives and friends to cherish her precious memories.
Services for Rosa Lee Milledge will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Quincy Baylor officiating. Burial will follow in Jessamine Memorial Gardens, 625 Allison Street, Aiken, SC. Mrs. Milledge will lay in state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Public viewing will be from Noon until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the funeral home.
