I considered Thomas a good friend. We worked together at DSS and through the years, I would see him out and it was just like picking up our conversations from the past again! I had just seen him at the court house. He was so proud of your new house! He always was so proud of Lee, Juliann and Brad. And Julie, he loved you to death and talked about you constantly! I was shocked to read of my dear friend's earthly death. Conway

Julie, I was shocked to see Thomas' death. It seems only a few weeks ago that I saw the two of you at YMCA. You certainly set an example of a perfect couple. Both had a special smile for everyone. My thought and prayers are with you and the family.

Mr. Thomas was my first boss back in 1977 at Big Star. He and my daddy Jerry Lee Smith were friends forever. I could not say his name so I called him Uncle Nucus.

Brad and family, your dad was such a light to all around him. Smiling his way through all things while leading his family in such a humble Christian way. We pray you feel God´s love through your dad´s example and know that he is rejoicing at home with his father.

Julie and family, I'm so deeply sorry about Thomas´s loss. Even though I'm retired, id still see Thomas out and about and he always had that smile. I loved working with Thomas back in the day. The business was like family back then. And, I always considered Thomas part of our family. May God be with all of you during this time and always. You´ll be in my prayers.
