Willie Slappy Obituary

Willie Slappy Jr. Willie Slappy Jr. 75 of 102 Branch Street, passed Saturday September 15, 2018 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

He was born on July 27, 1943 to the late Willie Slappy Sr and Frances Wardlaw. He was a 1963 graduate of J.S. Wright High School. He served our country in the US Army. A faithful brother of the Haigler Street Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Slappy.

He leaves to cherish hi memory, his wife Pearlie Agnew Slappy of the home. a daughter, Rosa Agnew of Abbeville, one grandchild Jha'Darea Johnson of Abbeville, three brothers Issac Slappy, John R. Slappy and James(Marion)Slappy and a host of nieces, nephews , cousins and friends that mourn his passing

Services are 12 noon Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Haigler Street Church of Christ. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Public viewing will be Wednesday September 19, 2018 from 1-7pm at the Mortuary. The family is at the home of his daughter, Rosa Agnew 123 Dutchman Rd. Professional Services by The Abbeville-White Mortuary. Abbeville
