To Brian Atwell's family, I just learned today of his passing, he was one of my favorite Starbucks customer. He always had a smile and he would tease me everytime he came in. When I left the store, he offered to take me and my husband for dinner! Wow! Such a big heart. It is with great sadness that I write this message. I pray for peace for you his family, and peace for him, my friend.

Brian, I knew you as a kid. With everything I've read over the last few days I am well aware that I missed out on knowing you as a man. You were obviously a Big Hearted good friend and most importantly a devoted father. But I will always remember the little kid. To Sharon and Christy, I'm sorry for your loss just isn't enough. There aren't any words that I can say. Godspeed Brian

On behalf of the Société de Police - IPD Adam & Edward, our condolences to the family and friends of Brian C. Atwell on learning of his departure from this life.

It was written: Oh today I light a candle for you... And we do!

To the family we offer the following thought:
And when something has enriched your life.
And when its melody lingers on in your heart.
Is it unfinished?
Or is it endless?

I will always remember you growing up. Memories of our talks and being the best friend to all of my kids. Especially Chris. But most of all I will remember how you would stop in at the shop to check in on Dale, Mech and Monnie. Race weekends and how you'd keep us safe. And how much you loved your children. I love you and i will miss you. Letting go is so hard.
