Edith Mitchell Obituary
Edith Elaine Mitchell
71, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 16, 2014. She was born on May 3, 1943 daughter of the late Harry and Viola Suiters.
She was a homemaker survived by her husband, Donald Grant Mitchell; sons, David D. Felland, Donald G. (Sheila) Mitchell, and Shane C. Bernard; daughter, Carman A. Oakley; two sisters, Elsie Pierce, and Mary Miller; and one brother, Jimmy Suiters. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, singing, and loved the casinos.
She had 13 grandchildren, David, Desirae, Paige, Olivia, Donald, Cheyanne, Shane, Alexis, Jay, Nicholas, Gia, Cali, and Jaidess; and one great grandchild, Delaney.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home , 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Edith will be laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Online condolences may be shared with the family at http://www.ghherrmann.com

I only had the pleasure of knowing you for a short time. Your smile will always be remembered as I sometimes recite the moments I was fortunate enough to have experienced.
