Elizabeth Feldmeyer Obituary
Indianapolis - Elizabeth "Betty" Feldmeyer, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 12, 2018. She was born on May 20, 1928 in Sullivan County, IN to the late Merse and Kathryn J. Lisman.
She was active in 4-H, the homemakers club, and was a past president of the Purdue Extension Club. Betty enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, traveling, and Bridge Club.
Betty is survived by her sons, Richard G. Feldmeyer and Dale R. (Peggy) Feldmeyer; grandchildren, Bradley Feldmeyer, Matthew Feldmeyer, Lori Stefancic and Hillary Feldmeyer; nine great grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia Knotts, Gail Rollins, Carolyn Harcourt, and Patricia Brummett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo B. Feldmeyer; son, Alan L. Feldmeyer; brother, William Lisman; and sister, Anna Haltom.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135. Additional visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Friedens United Church of Christ, 8300 S. Meridian Street, Indianapolis.
Betty will be laid to rest on Friday at 2:30 pm in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Bloomington. Memorial contributions may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ or The American Liver Foundation.
