Emory Reece Obituary

Emory "Fred" Reece, Jr. 70, of Westfield, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Fred was born September 22, 1935 in Morris City, TN to the late Emory, Sr. & Dovie Brickey Reece. Fred was the owner of Reece Trucking, and previously owned Reece Acoustical Contractors. He was a member of the Sheridan (previously Westfield) Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and the Westfield Order of the Eastern Star and attended Lakeview Wesleyan Church. Fred's hobby was Sprint Cars, which he owned and races. Funeral services will be Monday, February 27, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center - Hamilton Memorial Park, where friends may call Sunday, February 26, 2006 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Fred is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patty L. Strawmeyer Reece; daughters: Diana L. (Jim) Peyton & Karen S. (Tom) Johnson; grandchildren: Jeff (Allison), Mike & Brad Peyton, and Tammy (Ed) Tutwiler; nieces, nephews and several close friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry M. Reece. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westfield Washington Fire Department. www.flannerbuchanan.com
