Being a young lawyer in the 1990s and working with Fred as our outside counsel, he was always the teacher and mentor. I enjoyed working with him on utility matters and loved listening to his stories and hearing his hearty laugh. He will be missed. I will cherish the fond memories I have of him and sharing a cocktail at the Utility Law Holiday parties. God speed, Fred.

Jane and Family:
I really enjoyed those Highland Years of Tennis with Fred. A really great guy and will be missed. Yours, David Young

Hi Jane, so sorry to hear about Fred. he and I go back to when he did a summer clerkship at B&D while still in law school, and I was such a new, young, lawyer myself that we spent a lot of time together. Of course, he did a lot of important serious legal work, but I have two great non-legal memories which immediately came to mind; first, when someone sent him out to Mr Daniel's house to have some papers signed, and Mr. Daniels insisted on entertaining him for several hours, and second, when he hit a home run off the "King and his Court" in a softball game. Mickie and I are sorry for your loss.
