James "Michael" Zike

Indianapolis - 76, passed away January 12, 2019. He was born July 7, 1942 to the late Claude and Mary Zike. Mike was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. He married Alma Jean Stewart December 30, 1999, and she preceded him in death in 2014. Mike was the owner/operator of J.M. Zike Construction for many years, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Moose Lodge #17.

Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 6:30 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St.

Mike is survived by his son, James Michael Zike II (Robin); sisters, Frances Ann Coddington (Jerry) and Marilyn Jean Copeland; grandsons, Derek Michael, Taylor James and Samuel Adam Zike; step-children, Greg Stewart and Monica (Martin) Merry; step-grandchildren, Jason (Jenny) LaGrange and Jensan Merry; and step-great-grandchildren, Chyanne, Elijah, Levi, Declan, Emery and Dylan.
