Juanita Gripp

Westfield - Juanita Gripp, 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away May 26th, 2018. She was surrounded by her extended family these last days with love, gratitude, faith and celebration.

Juanita was born on July 14, 1931 in Carbondale, IL, to the late Clarence and Helen Borger. She met her sweetheart John Gripp and married him in 1959.

Juanita was a beloved friend to many, an active member of the Westfield Christ United Methodist Church and the Home Economics Club, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, and daily visits to residents at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was artistic; loved to paint, play the piano, research genealogy, and cook. She also loved to travel and was blessed to do so all over the world.

Juanita is survived by: her sons Richard (Jo) Gripp and Stephen (Christy) Gripp; her daughters Cheryl (Roland) Six, and Kimber Gripp; her daughter-in-law Judy Gripp; and seven grandchildren Mark Douglas Zukunft, Bryan Gripp, Christopher Cobb, Meaghan Six, Rachel Gripp, Sophia Gripp and Isabel Gripp.

Juanita is preceded in death by: her husband John "Jack" C. Gripp, sister Margaret (husband Jim) Lyons, her son, Douglas Gripp, and her infant granddaughter Angela.

A funeral is scheduled for June 4th, at Flanner Buchanan - Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield, IN. Visitors received at 3:30 pm with the service starting at 4pm.
