Kara S. "Suzie" Kercheval

Carmel - Died on June 17th at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in 1941 to the late Bonnie and William Kercheval. Suzie graduated from Hanover College where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She received her Master's degree from Butler University. Suzie was a passionate educator for 35 years and retired from teaching in the Carmel Clay Schools in 1997. She was also a 25-year member of Alpha Delta Kappa education sorority, and a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving sister to Kim Kercheval and David (Sarah) Kercheval, who survive her. Her true joy in life came from her three nieces, one nephew, 4 great-nieces, and 2 great-nephews. At her request, there will be no public visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to Crown Hill Funeral Home.
