Ann Morton Kercheval

Ann Morton Kercheval died Saturday, January 17, 2026 following a long illness. She was born on May 4, 1940 to Clyde and Elsie Kercheval in Madisonville, Kentucky. Ann was a life-long member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and an ordained minister of the denomination. She was a graduate of Transylvania University and the Lexington Theological Seminary. She worked for the Kentucky Department of Mental Health as a social worker. Ann lived a life of service to others, both in her vocation and through her commitments to the church. As a member of Central Christian Church she served as an elder and a Stephen Ministry leader, where she trained many classes of Stephen Ministers. She also proudly served as the President of Central's Christian Women's Fellowship (now Disciples Women) and a member of the chancel choir. A graveside service, to be held in Madisonville, will take place at a later date.
