Kenneth Ingle Obituary

Kenneth Ross Ingle

Kenneth Ross Ingle, a native of Evansville, Indiana, loved and lived in the state for most of his life. Born December 14, 1938, he graduated from Bosse High School in Evansville in 1956 and from DePauw University in 1960. During his varied career, he worked as a physicist at Ball Brothers Research Corp. in Boulder, Colorado, a math and science teacher in the Philippines through the U.S. Peace Corps and as an independent oil producer in southern Indiana. Ingle retired in 2003 and pursued nonprofit work with the Kettle Moraine Land trust in Wisconsin, where he spent summers during his life. He loved his family, the outdoors, classical music and solving mechanical problems. He is survived by Elizabeth Ingle, his wife of 57 years, sister Carolyn (Walker) Johnson, daughter, Kathryn (John) Calkins, son, Edward (Megan) Ingle, and four grandchildren, Isabelle and Charlotte Calkins and Largo and Noble Ingle.
