Lacy Brianne Nicole Parker
14, of Indianapolis, passed away on Fri., Oct. 11, 2013. She was born on February 26, 1999 in Troy, Ohio to Brian and Nicole Parker. Lacy was a freshman at Lawrence Central High School. Funeral service will be held on Fri. Oct. 18, 2013 at Noon in Overcoming Church, 2203 Columbia Ave., with calling from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Sutherland Park Cemetery. Lacy leaves to cherish her memory, father, Brian Parker, Sr.; mother, Nicole Mungion; brother, Brian Parker, Jr.; two sisters, Lexus Parker and Jade Gerace; a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home .

I had this crazy dream last night that you, Lexus, and I were getting you fitted for your cap and gown. Somewhere in the middle of consciousness I realized that it was just a dream. You hugged me and said, "Mom I have to go, I am dead." and I begged you to stay with me. I felt warmth from you and you were so real. I argued with you that you didn't FEEL dead and I wouldn't let go. Then I woke up. I went to the 'hang outs' on Google where you and I would chat for hours last Spring. The last words you said to me were that you would miss talking to me everyday. Now it is me who misses talking to you every day. I go through these stages of sadness, anger, hurt, desperation...if only time could be turned and re-dos were possible. I keep waiting for eternity with you but in the real world time just stands still. Every day is another continuation of the day before. I feel stale, like I am waiting for something to happen, but not knowing what that something is. I really am living half alive. Add my heart to the Jar of Hearts that has been destroyed. I know that I am called to pray for my enemies and out of obedience to God I do, but it is a daily struggle. I am constantly surrendering my will to The Will of The Father. Hoping. Waiting. Trusting. Obeying. I love you Lacy Lu. Please stay close to me until I meet you in forever. I told you I couldn't live in a world where you don't exist and I meant it. Love, Mom

My precious baby, I want to thank you for helping me get Lexus. It's so profound how you left behind clues and made sure that the truth was near the surface. I know you sacrificed yourself for your sister. I know you knew there was no way you would both get out of that crazy mess and you wanted to make sure she got out. I miss you so much. I find myself asking Jesus to tell you what I am thinking all the time. I had a dream of Lexus getting off a plane and when I went to hug her you were standing behind her with two thumbs up like 'We Did It!'. Maybe I watch too much Cold Case (:-P) but it was so real. I promise you as soon as she gets down here we will go to your favorite beach and listen to 'I Hope You Dance' and drink a Mango Smoothie from Stir It Up. I have had that planned for years. I feel you close sometimes, but I know that you are with Lexus always. I know that you will never leave HER side. I made a 'Bucket List' in your honor. Zip-lining, Roller Coasters, Sky Diving, and Para-sailing, Horse back riding on the beach are all on the agenda. I love you the purplest Lacy Lu and I will never let go. See you when I get there, until then, please pray for us. Life without you is unimaginable.

Lacy, I miss you so much. Everybody does. I remember in 7th grade every day you would walk on my bus and sit next to me and you would talk to me. You were not only my friend you were like a sister to me, and you always will be. Every night I pray to god and I talk to you and ask if your good. I pray to him to keep you and your family safe. Hey LacyLu...it's Mom. It's the evening before Good Friday and you have been on my mind all day. (Not that you don't stay on my mind, but particularly today.) I keep thinking about the last time I talked to you. I am so thankful that Jesus has you in His arms and He has wiped every tear from your eyes. He carried the sins of the world on His cross and because He died; You live. I am so blessed to have you for a daughter. You made your mark on this earth in 14 short years, something most people never do in a lifetime. I am so proud of the young woman you are and how you have had such a powerful influence on your peers in a positive way. No one has a negative word to say about you! Your candle shines in the darkest places and I give you my word that I will keep your legacy alive as long as I am. Lexus and I miss you so much though. Every day is a struggle. I need you to pray for us and stay in Jesus' ear about her coming home to me. Only you know the hell she is going through; but God is faithful to all His promises. Your death will be avenged and the people responsible will reap what they have sown. Psalm 94 says that a throne of destruction cannot be aligned with the Throne of The Most High God. He is the God who created the ears and eyes and just because they haven't seen His judgement yet doesn't mean it isn't coming. Because they have hardened their hearts He will destroy them by their own wickedness...Thus says the Lord. I'm just heartbroken that it was too late for you. Rest my Angel and wait for me. I pray I will be with you as soon as my work here on earth is finished and I have served my purpose in my own generation. I love you the bluest...forever and always. Lacy you have affected a lot of peoples hearts and lives forever.. I never had the pleasure of meeting you personally but my daughter spoke very highly of you all the way back from your Belzer Days.. The first time I laid eyes on you was Friday but looking at your face was like looking at an angel!! So beautiful you were and are!! My heart aches every time I think of you..
