Margarete Abbott Obituary

Margarete J. Proctor Abbott 82, of Indianapolis, died May 12, 2005. She was born July 6, 1922 in Bedford, Kentucky to Albert Proctor and Sarah Payne Proctor. Margarete loved her family and enjoyed teaching during V.B.S. She shared a loving marriage of 64 years with her beloved husband, Clarence Abbott, who preceded her into heaven. In loving memory, Margarete is cherished by her sons, Clarence E. Abbott, James A. Abbott, Donald A. Abbott, and Pastor Michael D. Abbott; daughters, Patricia A. Brackett, Janet S. Flynn, and Ruby D. Elliott; 21 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; brother, William Earl Proctor; sisters, Louise Proctor Taylor, Edith Proctor Wells, and Dorothy Proctor Aldridge. Contributions to honor Margarete may be sent to the churches building fund. A funeral ceremony to celebrate Margarete's life, is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Brownsburg Baptist Church. Calling is from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday, May 16 in Family Funeral Care. Also, there will be calling at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until services.
