Martha Caesar Obituary

Martha Jean Caesar, 70, Indianapolis, died August 8, 2003. Retired June 2003 from the Capital Improvement Board, IN Convention Center & RCA Dome, as Assistant Controller after 22 years of faithful service, due to cancer. Each Sunday, since 1982, played piano at the Rosewalk Village Nursing Home, receiving the Volunteer of the Year Award in Feb. 2001. Martha loved animals, especially her cats. Born in Center, TX, daughter of Joseph Ernest Meadow and Willie Mae Creech Meadow. Grew up in Cotulla, TX. Moved to Indpls. in 1971 & worked for the Atkinson Hotel for 10 years, before going to the CIB in 1982. Loved and missed by family, neighbors, co-workers, associates. Survived by son & daughter-in-law, James & Becky Caesar; grandsons, James & BJ; great-grandson Ethan of Conroe, TX; brother & sister-in-law, James & Joyce Meadows, & their children of PA. Viewing: Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Memory Gardens & Funeral Home, Greenwood, IN on August 11 from 5:30 until 9 p.m. Service at 7 p.m. Burial: 9:30 a.m. August 12.
