Matthew Springer Obituary

Matthew S. Springer 20, passed away June 21, 2010. He was born August 18, 1989 to Scott and Nancy Springer. He was a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School. He was a 2009 recipient of Hamilton Southeastern "Set a Good Example Excellence Award", 2008 Inaugural Lucas Oil Stadium "Riley Coin Toss Kid" (Colts vs. Bears game). Matt was an avid sports fan, especially of his beloved Colts. Matt will always be remembered for his love of family and friends, the strength of his faith and his snappy attire. Survivors include his parents, Scott and Nancy Springer; brother, John Springer; and numerous loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Family and friends will gather Monday, June 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit of Geist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, June 29, starting at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit of Geist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Riley Children's Foundation- Camp Hi-Lite, Make a Wish Foundation of Indiana, Best Buddies of Indiana, and Special Olympics of Indiana in memory of Matt. Arrangements entrusted to the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, Indianapolis. May Matthew Rest in Peace.
