My sincerest condolences to the family, albeit years late.
Norma & I met at HHC. Although she was more than twice my age, her enthusiasm and active lifestyle made her a joy to be with. When I graduated Nursing school Norma was there; she met and fostered a friendship with my sister (they were same age). When I deployed, Norma wrote me letters, always the encouraging optimist. While stationed overseas several years we kept in contact via mail or email.
Always caring and praying for others, she was the epitome of a "Servant for Christ", a 'Nightingale Nurse', and a "Shero".

When we moved to Colorado, your mom would write us a letter every other month of so. So thoughtful of her to take the time. She always took an interest in our lives, the ranch, the kids. She had a heart of gold . . . and must have been tough as nails to raise the three of you:> Kidding aside . . . she was very proud of each of you and should be. With sympathy . . .

I wanted to offer my condolences to the passing of Mrs. Poliak. In 1968 or so, I needed a baby sitter for my two sons, Andy and Eric Johnson, while I worked. My mother was unable to watch them. I was so happy to have found Mrs. Poliak, she was so kind to my boys. She watched them for several years. She was such a help to me when I needed it.
A wonderful lady. I will pray for all of you during this difficult time. I am so glad she touched my life. Sincerely, Barbara Brooks Johnson Braun

I worked with Norma for a long time. She was a very dedicated and hard working person. She was also very dedicated in raising three small children, all by herself, who turned out to be loyal, productive and wonderful people who were faithful to her until the very end. She is finally with her beloved Laddie.
