Ralph Sharp

Ralph Sharp 81, passed away July 19, 2006 at the Westminster Village North Health Care Center. Ralph was born December 16, 1924 to Walter and Frances (Stepp) Sharp. Ralph lived at the Knightstown Soldiers and Sailors Home until graduating in 1943. Ralph joined the Navy after graduation and later served in the Army retiring in 1964 with the rank of Major. After moving back to Indiana; Ralph worked for Western Electric and retired in 1984. Ralph married Renee (Valckenaere) on December 14, 1946 and she survives along with two sons, Dr. Gary (Mary Ann) Sharp and Larry (Ann) Sharp both of Greenfield, as well as, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and brother Albert Sharp In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Knightstown. Viewing will be Friday, July 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Lawrence, with funeral service Saturday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral center. www.flannerbuchanan.com
