Randy Whitis Obituary

Randy D. Whitis 44, Indianapolis, died June 18, 2004. He was born October 3, 1959 in Indianapolis to Forrest and Gail (Smith) Whitis. He attended John Marshall High School. He was engaged to Kimberly Bell. He had worked as a carpenter for many years. Mr. Whitis had attended the Fortville Baptist Church and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He is survived by his parents; his fiance; son Randy Whitis, Jr. of Indianapolis; sisters, Shannon (Randy) Chappel and Trisha (Dana) Weidemann; and a brother, Eric Whitis. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 23 in Erlewein Mortuary, Fortville Chapel. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 22 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations are being encouraged to Mr. Whitis's Family, with envelopes being available at the mortuary.
