Robert L."Bob" Douglas, Sr.
82, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 14, 2014. He was born on July 22, 1932 in Franklin, KY.
After his discharge from the Army in 1958, he operated D&S Auto Parts and Sales from 1959-2010, located on the West Side of Indianapolis at Raymond and Bluff Road.
Bob is survived by his sons, Robert L."Butch" Douglas Jr. and Joseph P. "Pete" Douglas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; wife, Zettie "Betty" Douglas; and brother, Paul Douglas.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 in G.H. Herrmann Madison Av enue Funeral Home , 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23 in the funeral home. Bob will be laid to rest in Concordia Cemetery.
