Robert Page Obituary
87, Greenwood, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. He was born on December 7, 1929 in Lincoln, Kansas to Artie L. and Dulcie F. Gregg Page. He was a 1948 graduate of Barry High School in Barry, Illinois where he was a standout athlete. He served in the US Army from 1948 until 1955. He was a lab tech at Chrysler Corporation for 33 years before retiring in 1985. Bob was a member of the UAW Local 1226, former Past President of the Beech Grove Little League and member of the Beech Grove Little League Hall of Fame and former Beech Grove City Councilman for 8 years. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nine siblings and grandson, Jonathan Page. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marcia Jahnke Page; daughter, Deborah (Larry) Rademacher; sons, Jeffrey (Beth) Page, Brian (Becki) Page, Scott (Holly) Page and Michael (Julie) Page; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Our Lady of the Greenwood Church, 335 S. Meridian Street, Greenwood, IN with additional visitation on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Greenwood Church immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jonathan Page Memorial Scholarship Fund at Roncalli High School. Online condolences may be shared with the family at orileyfuneralhome.com.
