Ryan McHie Obituary

Ryan L. McHie 26, Indianapolis, passed away November 21, 2010. He was born August 4, 1984, in Indianapolis, the son of Richard and Marcia McHie. Ryan was a 2003 graduate from Lawrence North High School. He previously attended Purdue University and was a current student at IUPUI, where he was studying Bio-Medical Technology. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He enjoyed playing indoor and outdoor soccer, watching movies, tinkering with cars, and he took a recent interest in investing. He is survived by his parents; sister, Sarah McHie; grandmothers, Wanda Bitzer and Betty McHie; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, G. Edward McHie, Noble Sutherlin, and Wendell Bitzer; and uncle, Jim McHie. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Oaklawn in the Good Shepherd Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, tax deductible memorial contributions may be made to Push America, the national philanthropy of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, indicating they are memorial gifts for Ryan McHie and mailed to Push America Chapter Services, P.O. Box 241368, Charlotte, NC 28224. Online condolences or to view Ryan's video tribute may be done by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.
