Stephen Blair Obituary

Stephen Lee Blair 69, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 29, 2009. Mr. Blair was born on August 17, 1940 in Indianapolis to John Henry and June Aline Blair. His father preceded Stephen in death. Mr. Blair was a member of the Toastmasters organization. He was devoted to his family, especially his mother whom he took special care of, and he also liked working with wood crafting and refinishing furniture for his family and friends. He leaves behind children Stephen Blair, Jr., Kimberly (Troy) Simmerman, and Stephanie Gonzales; grandchildren, Parker and Wesley Simmerman, Anthony, Charles, and Davis Gonzales, and Josh and Morgan Blair; mother, June Blair; sister, Diane (Chuck) Stump; one niece; two nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Washington Park North, with calling two hours prior at 9 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent 2001 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46260 in Mr. Blair's name. www.flannerbuchanan.com
