Dear Edie, Holly, Sybil and extended family: We heard of Susie's passing right after Christmas. I was and still am so saddened to learn of this. Both Douglas and I want you all to know how much we love your immediate and extended family. I can still hear Susie's sweet voice. I am honored to have been there to help serve for her 70th birthday. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very sad time. Susie was an amazing woman,mother,and friend to so many.

Susie was Associate Dean when I was hired in 1999, she gave me support and guidance. I valued her time and her opinions. When didn't always see eye-to-eye, but we could always talk.
