Thomas Ketterer Obituary
Thomas G. "Tom" Ketterer, age 70, of Highland, IL, born June 18, 1947, in Breese, IL, died Saturday, February 17, 2018, in Chesterfield, MO.
Mr. Ketterer retired in 2002, from Union Electric (currently Ameren), where he served as electrician and operation engineer, and was a member of St. Felicitas Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming; was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and vintage tractor collector; and cherished time spent with his brothers.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Cletus and Elizabeth, nee Schumacher, Ketterer.
Tom is survived by his brothers, Dan and John Ketterer of Carlyle; and numerous cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Felicitas Catholic Church or Mater Dei Catholic High School and will be received at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to www.mossfuneralhome.com
Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Moss Funeral Home in Breese. A second visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the funeral home.
Services: Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at St. Felicitas Catholic Church in Beaver Prairie, IL, with Fr. Larry Nickels presiding. Interment will follow in St. Felicitas Cemetery in Beaver Prairie.
