We knew Al for years and worked with him in teaching our students how to save on taxes and much more. He was always so nice and so helpful. One thing I always remember is how he taught me to put ice in my white wine so it would taste better. We miss you, Al.

In today's world, one can be considered blessed if you find a person who is really passionate about their work and equally cares for others. I never met Al in person but feel as though I knew him because I felt he was legitamite. I can still hear his voice in my head from listening to his materials. I loved his humor as he tries to make a point and I admire his knowledge. I was sadden to hear of his sickness and devasteted to hear of his passing, but we are all here for a purpose and he has fulfilled his. Al has started a flame by teaching other accountants and they are here to help us in his absence. If we continue to learn and do, we keep that fire burning, thus keeping his spirit alive. I've learned things from Al that I never new existed and thats because others didn't know or wanted to keep the information to themselves.
Al's daughter and friend have a long hard road ahead but it can be accomplished with love and patience. I pray the family will find comfort in rejoicing in his life and expericing things that you see, touch, smell, or remember that reminds you of his life here on earth.

i am mathmatically challenged as I am dyslexic but Al could make TAXES intteresting! He had a lot of good stories about the IRS court cases and the taxation system in this country. He truly knew his stuff and never gave up learning and studying. Lou and I valued his friendship and his loyalty as well as his joy in sharing his knowledge. He truly wanted and did make a difference in this world and he will be sadly missed.

Rose, we looked and looked for the obituary and the only thing that came up was his Dad's obit...now I see they spelled it differently here. Frank was very upset to hear about Al and wanted to be there. Years and years would pass without them seeing each other and they would just revert back to being silly Neumann boys! Last we saw him was the 50th reunion. He was definitely one of the good guys. Our condolences to you, your daughter and all of his family. Jacqui and Frank Lauletta

Al you will be missed more than any words can ever express. To describe you as one of a kind would be a massive understatement. I will miss the great conversations we had, the times we spent at the Caffè watching Italy go on to win the World Cup back in 2006, your encyclopedic knowledge and love of opera. You were an inspiration not only to me but to everyone who ever knew you. You helped me grow as a person. I can't properly express in words how much I'll miss you. Love you always pal.

My sincere condolences to Al's family. Al was a close friend of our family for over 50 years. My fondest memories go back to growing up in So. Philly and Al hanging out with my brother and the guys, always laughing, teasing and just being silly; - when L'amicizia (friendship) and having harmless fun were more important than money or material things (The old South Philly, Italian style)
