Dear Ed, Bob and Al,
I have so many fond childhood memories of your Dad as chauffeur on trips to New Jersey, Maryland and beyond. He was always such a gentle person and not at all irritated by a brat like me fidgeting and moaning in the back seat of his car. A child senses the "mean" aunts and uncles and steers clear of them, but I can honestly say that, over the years, I truly looked forward to seeing your Dad and getting the same, cheerful reception as on those early, summer mornings when my mother and I helped him pack the car for one of our adventures.
I know he had great times at his "Italian Restaurant" dinners with Dee, Ed, my mom and Uncle Andy and that he was looking forward to another one when he passed away.
I was lucky to have him for my uncle and your mom for my aunt, and I will never forget their kindnesses to me.
Love, cousin Catherine
