ALEXANDER LEVONCHUCK Obituary
ALEXANDER, June 19, 2011. Devoted husband of the late Angelina (nee Fortino). Beloved father of Sandra Stay, ex father-in-law of John Stay. Brother of Lillian Shapowal. Grandfather of Kyle Stay and Erin Stay. Alexander was a Veteran of WWII Armed Forces serving his country in the Phillipines and New Guinea, and was a recipient of several Bronze Medals. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing Thurs. Eve 7 to 9 P.M. and Friday 8 to 9 A.M. from the BALDI FUNERAL HOME, 1331 S. Broad St. (ample parking on premises). Funeral Mass will follow Viewing Friday 9:30 A.M. St. Gabriel Church, 29th and Dickinson Sts. Int. Holy Cross Cem.

Sandi, I never met your Dad, but he must have been a wonderful person to raise a beautiful daugher like you..He is at peace now, and all his sickness is gone. I will keep you and your family in my prayers, and keeping the memories in your heart is like having them around you forever..

Sandra, so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of your dad (and mom) from Newkirk Street in South Philly when we young.
One thought that gets me through the loss of my mom over and over again is that God doesnt taken those we love from us, He has only hidden their memory in our hearts. Your dad will always be in your heart. His memory will be one of your greatest treasures. Prayers for you and your family during this difficult time. <3
