I always loved when he came to visit, and thought he was the coolest guy we knew. Everything about him; the hair, the clothes, the cool watches, the way he spoke. My dad always told me how smart he was, and I always tried to lurk and listen to them while they were talking, and hating being shushed away. He was good to me, not just as a Godfather, but as a person in general, and to my everlasting regret and shame, I was not a very good Godson. I still have the cuff links and tie clasps that he got for me over 50 years ago, and treasure them. May he rest in peace, and enjoy his well deserved place in heaven.
