Will always miss you Anil for all the good times we had in 1984 visiting all of Europe in three weeks. Swati and my daughter Anu had such good times. You went too early. Rest in peace my friend. Even going back, we had such good times from 1974 when we met first in Newark.

Dr. Rastogi,
I will miss our touch base calls on life's happenings, kids and your expertise on my pets. I learned a lot from you and you were an inspiration to me. You always kept inspiring words and you were a loving father. I can still remember baby sitting for your once were little ones 20+ years ago! How time flies. You were an awesome boss, veterinarian and friend. I will miss you Dr. Rastogi. Rest in peace.
Swati, Anshul and Monica,
My sympathy goes out to you and all who knew him. You are all grown-up and your father was proud of all of you. He will be missed.

I just recvd a vml, from who I presume is the new Dr's secretary fishing for business, about Dr. Rastogi's death. I was shocked!
I too am sadden that I was not aware of his passing...as it was months ago.
My various pets had been his patients since 1989 and I will miss him. He was, as many others have said, a truly wonderful vet.
A few years ago, I remember when an either less educated, or less ethical, emergency clinic told me my dog needed surgery for a torn acl. A couple days later, I took our dog to Dr. Rastogi for a second opinion, as I trusted him. He took my dog and prepared to do surgery...only to call 30 minutes later to say that it wasnt needed. My dog, for better or worse, only suffered from arthritis...a non curable condition. Not only did he save my dog from a painful surgery and recovery...he saved me thousands of dollars! In fact, his price for the same surgery was thousands less than the ER center quoted.
Despite the opportunity, he did not take advantage of me, or my pet!!!!
I can recount other minor issues where his expertise, kindness and sensiblity saved me, and my pets, from additional hardships. YOU WILL BE MISSED and we hope you REST IN PEACE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR YEARS OF WONDERFUL SERVICE!
Love and respect, KLC (TA, Eclipse, Casper, Sebastian, Rio and Chase)
