ANTHONY, 58, of Blue Bell, PA died on December 23, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Ellen (Hayes) Peluso for 34 years. Tony was born in Clifton, NJ on December 28, 1954 to Marie (Giampalvo) and the late Gene Peluso. He attended Marquette University and received his B.S. in Accounting from Montclair State University. Tony began his career as a CPA with Arthur Young and Co. in Saddle Brook, NJ in 1982. He then became a partner with the successor firm of Ernst and Young LLP in 1997. Tony was an active participant in the music ministry at St. Helena Church in Blue Bell, PA. This included playing keyboard, bell choir and percussion instru-ments. He enjoyed a reputation as "Professor Fingers" and provided years of musical entertainment to many people throughout the many chapters of his life. His endearing sense of humor was loved and appreciated by all. He enjoyed spending time with family in northern Michigan and Florida. Along with his wife and mother, Tony is survived by his second mother: Aunt Fannie Giampalvo; three children: Brianne, Marlee, Matthew (fiancé Alessandra Valerio) Peluso; three brothers: Ken Peluso (Julie Labeau), Phil Grecco (Ellen), Michael Hayes (Pam); mother and father-in-law Ellen and Bill Hayes; brother and sister-in-laws: Mary Beth Hayes, Frank Zatko, Maureen Hayes, Bill Hayes, Jr., Anne Hayes and Amos Omondi; Nephews: Andrew Peluso, Miles and Micah Omondi, many extended family members. He was predeceased by a brother Stephen Peluso.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11 A.M. at St. Helena Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. A Visitation will be held from 9-11 A.M. at the Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's name to Melmark Meadow's Day Program, www.melmark.org, Hope Network (West Lake Campus)

Ellen, I just read of your husband's passing in an email from Marian. I never met your husband, but as your former classmate and high school friend I send my deepest condolences to you. Tony was always positive, happy and upbeat. I cannot recall ever seeing him otherwise. Tony and Ellen were a terrific couple. Everyone could see in the way they interacted how much in love they were. I had not seen Tony in many years. I wish I had done more to keep in touch with him.
