AUSTIN A. JR., age 82, on Dec.
10, 2012, Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband of Mary P. (nee Norton). Devoted father of Maureen Halligan (Bob), Austin A. III (Maureen), Kathleen Ciolko (Edward), Maripat McKenna (Edward), Joseph (Debra), Daniel (Erica), Brian and Meghan Hannum (Dan). Loving grandfather of 20. Son of the late Austin A. and Dorothy Meehan. Also survived by his sister Dorothy Wackerman and brother Andrew Meehan; many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday Eve 5 to 8:30 P.M. at Maternity B.V.M. Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave., Phila., PA 19115 and Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. WACKERMAN FUNERAL HOME, 8060 Verree Rd., Phila. PA 19111, followed by Funeral Mass 11:30 A.M. Maternity BVM Church. Interment Resurrection Cem. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Norcom Community Center, 10980 Norcom Rd., Phila., PA 19154 or Camilla Hall, 1145 King Rd., Immaculata, PA 19345 would be appreciated.

When I found out about Mr Meehan's passing my heart sank, my parents told me. Not only have the Meehan's been a family friend throughout the years, he was also my old boss. My thoughts, prayers and love go out to the entire Meehan family. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

To the Entire Meehan family (including James). Susanne and I want to extend our wishes. We have known Austin for about 45 years. the Longport block parties and the wonderful friendship of Austin. Although never the most talkative, Austin always got his point across. I have missed that smile and that little "twinkle" in his eye these past years. Certainly he is in a much better place (for him) now but we will surely miss him in "our" place. G-d Bless
