Having just heard the news of Ben's passing, it's hard to believe it's real. To his family, my deepest sympathy and prayers for continuous healing and comfort from the Lord. ben, can't bel u gone but i will never forget when u took us to to great adventures .i will never forget all the times we went to the horse track and i use to be scared to bet my money and u would say u in? cause if i win u ain't getting a cut lol,smh.u are truley missed by someone who once had your heart friends forever....

There is so much joy growing up with a close and loving family. The is such sadness when a part of our family is called home. Benji you will truly be missed. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank Benjamin M. Drains for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of Ben will be broadcast to our 2903 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia’s Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career.
