BERNADETTE M., on Jan. 8, 2012, of Wallingford, formerly of Springfield, PA, 65 years of age. Daughter of the late Walter Sr. and Mary E. (nee Stryjewski) Zapiec, loving sister of Claire G. Phelen, the late Walter S. Zapiec, Jr. and Edward S. Zapiec, dearest aunt of Kirsten M. Zapiec, Stephen (Rebecca) Zapiec and Jeannine (Brian) Stokes; also survived by 4 great nieces and one great nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Visitation with her family Thursday Jan. 12, 2012, after 10 A.M. St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064. Funeral Mass to follow at 11 A.M. Inurnment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family requests donations in Bernadette's memory to Arthritis Foundation, 111 S. Independence Mall E., Suite 500, Phila., PA 19106

Bernadette, my dear sister, now you are at peace and free of pain from arthritis that destroyed your body. Your caring, giving and love has been shared by so many lives thst crossed your path. This has especially been with your grandnieces Haley, Sarah, Ella and Krysta and grandnepphew Nathan as a teacher and inspiration that will be with all them and us for the rest of our lives.
I dearly miss you and now you are at peace, my special Saint Bernadette. Enjoy "Hanging Loose" by saiing the heavenly skies.
