DR. BERNARD, Dec. 23, 2008. Husband of Ruth (nee Dratch). Father of Mitchell Adler (Barbara) and Sandra Adler Gafni (Abraham). Brother of Nan Benenson. Grandfather of Jonathan Adler (Heather) and Jordan Adler (fiancee Jamie Drucker). Great grandfather of Alex and Jake Adler. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Fri. 10 A.M., precisely at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. Following Interment, family will return to the residence of Mitchell and Barbara Adler. Commencing Saturday evening, Shiva will be observed at his late residence. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

I was a patient of Bernie in Quakertown and I was always greeted with a warm handshake and had a full eye exam from this very through gentleman,

I remember Bernie very well for he took care of me and my eyes when in Quakertown always greeted well by his wife Riuth. Bernie was thorough, kind and always prepared to answer any questions concerning my eyes. I miss them both.

I will always remember Uncle Bernie as the kindest, most approachable, and nurturing people that I have ever had the privilege to know. Our world is diminished by his passing, but greatly enriched by his legacy. My thoughts and love are with his sister Nan, Aunt Ruth, Mitchell and Sandy and all of their loved ones. It gladdens my heart to think that my "Baby-Doll", Marsha has Uncle Bernie with her now.
