CASEY EDWARDS Obituary
CASEY (nee Ostaszewski), age 33, on Feb. 18, 2013. Devoted wife of Neil, beloved daughter of Cathy and Joe Ostaszewski, dear granddaughter of Mary Bowers, and loving sister of Joey, Patrick (Mary), and Andrew. Also sadly missed by Kaia and Jalen, her nieces and nephews Danny, Jake, Molly, Claire, Ryan, her devoted friend Jenn Metzger, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Casey was a member of Central High class of 256, Arcadia University (Beaver) class of 2001, she received her Master's Degree from Edinboro University, and was a devoted teacher at Alliance for Progress and Robert Morris Elementary School. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday after 11:30 A.M. in St. Bartholomew's Church (Cheltenham and Harbison Aves.). Funeral Mass will begin 1 P.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers donations to Crozer Keystone Hospice, 5030 State Rd., Drexel Hill PA 19023 or to the Children's Literary Initiative, 2314 Market St, 3rd Floor Phila. PA 19103 would be appreciated.

To The family of Casey O.....I have no words that will help with your pain and sorrow...My heart breaks for all of you...Too young to be gone from this earth!! Too much to still do...Casey and my daughter Alison were on Moss's cheerleading team....I remember her as a great kid, always smiling, always happy and cheerful!!! May the good lord above take her in his arms and welcome her to heaven to live pain free and to share her love and light with others. To Neil and the Ostaszewski,
God reached down and picked another beautiful flower from his garden. He makes no mistakes. Casey is resting in his arms. No more pain and no more suffering. She is at peace with her heavenly father. I got to meet her through my daughter Jean Evans. She certainly was a loving person and friend.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Casey's family and friends. I worked with Casey at Wawa and always remembered her bright smile and genuine kindness. I followed her on facebook as she battled this terrible disease with grace and courage and even humor. She taught me alot about a disease I had never heard of IBC and for that I am grateful. She also taught me what it means to be a true fighter and not give up. Casey truly is an inspiriation. I feel lucky to have known her and hope that her friends and family can find comfort in the memories of the past in the weeks, months, and years to come. Rest in peace Casey, you earned it.
