What a profound loss to a family, friends, co-workers and entire community. Chuck was one of the happiest, most positive, caring, entertaining and generous person I've known. He was my neighbor, but most importantly, I was fortunate to call Chuck my friend. My continuous prayers are with your family, loved ones and friends.

We just don't know what to say and can only hurt for the pain you are feeling; Brendan, Shane, Jess and the rest of your family and family of friends. We are so torn and will truly miss seeing your dad on the block - playing wiffle ball, handing out peppers, tomatoes, crabs and just being the most generous and good man he was. Uncle Chuck- you will be missed by us all. We will miss your infectious happiness, your jokes, and the special place you had in our family as the Jolly and generous man you were. You gave me 3 great cousins; you gave our family a chance to get to know Marie and her wonderful children, and too many good memories to count. When I was a kid, "Butch" was the first person to convince me to try pepperoni pizza. When I was a teenager, he gave me a job babysitting his kids. As an adult, I remember him accompanying his mom to my grandmother's funeral. He was an all around great guy. I wish I could be there to personally express my condolences to the entire Buchanan family.
