Dear Mike, Nicole, Renee and Family:
Words seem so trivial at a time like this--how could they possibly begin to fill the hole that remains. Chris was a great wife and mother--she kept the ship afloat and sailing in the right direction; and we, along with many friends will certainly miss her. I found this quote and think of all those I've read, it imparts the strongest message. I hope it provides some comfort.
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Dr. Seuss

Dear Blaney family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies. You were blessed with a wonderful wife, mother, mom-mom, and daughter. I feel like i know all of you we always talked about our families. I could always feel her deep love for all of you when we would talk. I will miss Chris very much, and pray to her everyday. I guess God needed a new hairdresser and sent for her. He got the best.

Dear Blaney Family,
Words alone cannot express our sympathy on the untimely death of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother. To say that her time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that she will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew her.
No doubt the outpouring of sympathy you have received since her parting has been of some consolation. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to you of how well-loved and liked she was.
I hope that you and your family will find peace and comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared together. There is a bond that can never be broken. Treasure every memory and never stop sharing your stories of her.
May God bless you and your wonderful family.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that your gone, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Chris, we are going to miss you so much. You always made our days on the beach fun. We can't even think about the beach and not cry for the friend we lost. We know you are at peace and we know you probably aren't having any trouble breathing....for that we are thankful! Your friendship has meant so much to us over the years. May God keep you in the palm of his hand. Rest in peace our dear friend. We love you.

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth--
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
Our Deepest Sympathy,

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Aunt Chris was THE BEST. I keep listening to "Never Can Say Goodbye" -- the Gloria Gaynor version -- and remembering all the times together at parties when she would be dancing with all of her girlfriends; or the times when my Dad would take my brother and me over to her house for a haircut in her kitchen. We all loved her. I'm going to miss all the smiles and laughs she created. Love, as always, to Uncle Mike, Renee, Nicole and their families.

No words can ease the pain of losing a beloved mother, wife and friend. Chris always put her family first before herself, as the family’s happiness was her happiness. If you always remember all the good and sacrifices Chris made, Chris will live forever in your hearts and minds. It’s what she would hope to happen after passing from this earth. My sympathies to Chris’s family on this sombre occasion. May she live forever in your hearts and minds. Be thankful you had the opportunity to have known this remarkable woman. May God rest her soul.
