CHRISTINE (born Christine Valentine and later Christine Nestor, also lovingly known as Tina and Chrissy to friends and family) passed away after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma and AL amyloidosis on November 23, 2016 at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia. Her passing was peaceful and she was comforted and surrounded by her family and loved ones. Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Temple Hospital's Cardiac Unit, Fox Chase Cancer Center and the Jeanes Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Unit for their service, care and kindness.
She was born March 4, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA and raised in Ambridge, PA. She was a resident of Swedesboro, NJ, after living for many years in Abington, PA and Fort Washington, PA.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Did not know her well but spoke to her when we would cross paths walking our dogs. She always seemed happy and pleasant and I enjoyed our brief conversations. Seemed to be such a beautiful person. Heaven gained another angel. Again, my condolences to all of you.
