Daniel Gallucci Obituary

Gallucci Daniel Nast "DAN" Of Philadelphia, formerly of Lancaster, PA passed away peacefully at his home in Philadelphia on May 5, 2025. Dan was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, on December 29, 1969. He grew up with his brother Michael in Mount Holly and neighboring Moorestown before moving to Lancaster, Pennsylvania during grade school. Dan attended St. Leo the Great, and then Hempfield High School, where he was a standout track-and-field athlete. Dan received his undergraduate degree from Gettysburg College, and he earned his Juris Doctor at the Dickinson School of Law. After law school, Dan clerked for the Honorable Michael Georgelis, and then joined RodaNast, P.C., where he secured several landmark personal injury verdicts. Dan then joined Nastlaw LLC, based in Philadelphia, where he worked on a number of national mass tort and antitrust cases. Dan loved to fish, a passion he discovered in early childhood through his grandfather, and one which he pursued throughout his life at destinations all over the world. When at home, Dan could often be found checking the daily bluefish reports. Dan also loved Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies and Eagles. He was particularly fond of his cats, of which he had many over the years. He was an avid skier and ping-pong player. He loved to travel internationally and spend time with his family and friends. Dan is survived by his mother, Dianne Nast, his stepfather, Joseph F. Roda, his father, Michael Gallucci, his two daughters, Olivia and Ava Gallucci, their mother Kimberly Gallucci, his two younger brothers, Joseph and Joshua Roda (Dan's older brother Michael Nast passed away in December 2004), his younger sister Anastasia Nast, and of course his beloved cat Schmoo. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dan's Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 12 Noon at St. Leo the Great Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601 with Msgr.
