My dear Dave,

We were on your patio. I heard our daughters' voices at a distance through close night summer air. That was when you told me you were the happiest, luckiest guy you knew. My dear, lucent, stubborn, recalcitrant, difficult friend. I love you and wish you were here.

The Talones have been wonderful neighbors and Dave will be missed. He did so much for my son, Damian, and I will always be grateful to him. Knowing him enriched our lives. He will be greatly missed.

Tom and family-
It has been years since we spent time listening to music and being on Lancaster Avenue. Please pass my regards to family and friends. We who knew David are better for it.
