DEAN A., 41 years, died suddenly December 20, 2003 of Tampa FL, formerly of Havertown PA; beloved son of David A. Procter and Rhea G. (nee Writer); dear brother of Lisa G. Griffin and Drew D. Procter; devoted uncle of David and Connor Griffin. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service Mon. 11 A.M. at THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 8401 WEST CHESTER PIKE (cor. LYNN BLVD.), UPPER DARBY, PA. . . . 610-449-0300; where friends may call after 8:30 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment, SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc, 625 W. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken PA 19428.

Dear Procter Family- although i was only able to meet Lisa in my time with Dean, my heartfelt condolences go out to you all. I moved to Tampa the same month as Dean did and we were close friends ever since then. As i struggle to understand why this happened, i will remember Dean as a true friend, someone who always sought to include all his friends in social events, and will never forget his generous spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, as we all try to cope with this sudden and devastating loss.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and fellow friends of Dean. He's in our hearts forever and his constant smile and wonderful personality will create a void only to be filled by the memories we shared. We will miss him in our beach house in Sea Isle with Besty, Joey, Kathy, Bobby, Miriam and my wife and I.
While it can only be little comfort during the shock of his loss, Dean was a wonderful friend and always knew people everywhere we went. Successful in life with many friends, he was a model friend he will be with us always and always in our hearts.
